tonylakeside
Just bought a new leftover 07 Edge, the deal was to good to pass, it was exactly the model & color I wanted, an SEL+ red, charcoal interior & without the sunroof. After 20+ years of GM vehicles, I had good luck with them, but as I looked for a Crossover, all GM had was the Acadia, Outlook, etc. all to big & expensive even with employee discounts which I can get on all big 3 vehicles. As I looked at the Chev Equinox I realized that it is made in a Suzuki plant, with a Chinese engine, Japaneese transmission, & a fuel filler on the wrong side. I also looked at the Saturn Vue & it was made in Mexico. So as a Union supporter, the EDGE made by CAW Canada & UAW USA was my pick. Chrysler did not have a comparable product, if they did it would have probably came from Mexico. So far I have only 500 miles on it & I love it, exept fo the poor illumination of the speedometer in the early evening. I will be changing the motor oil this week to Mobil 1 (5-20) this week. As a synthetic oil user for over 30 years there is no better protection. :hyper:
