Scott Hennig
Just dropped off our 2013 Edge limited at the dealer It was taken back as a lemon. Picked up a new 2014 Edge limited. Mineral gray with med sand interior. This is the same color as my 2013, except we had black interior on the Lemon. No difference at all from 2013 to 2014. everything is the same. The my touch is slightly different because I don't think the other one was up to date with the latest version. Really hope this one is a keeper because we really Like the Edge and want it to last longer then the 4671 miles the other one lasted

ls973800
Scott, after following some of your posts on the 2013, glad to hear you finally got something resolved. I have the medium stone interior in my 2013 Limited and really like the color. Only thing to watch out for is the possible transfer of dye or bluish color if you wear blue jeans. It doesn't happen to many owner's, but enough that I've read a few posts about it. My seats do get the transfer (Levi jeans is what I wear mostly) but I make sure I the clean the seats every few weeks when needed. I also use a leather treatment once in a while. My car is almost two years old and the transfer doesn't happen near as much now as it did in the first several months of ownership. Don't want to be a downer regarding your new Edge, just wanted to share a personal experience I've had.

David Young
We had a 2013 Edge Limited, SYNC was always messed up so we got rid of it. Traded for a 2014 Edge limited like you did . Our 2014 rides so much smoother than the 2013 did (both with 20 inch wheels). The tray in the rear seat back is narrower on the 2014 than the 2013 was which is fine with me, i never ride back there. They are a few small changes between the two years but Ford says they are the same. We also have dye transfer from clothes on the front seat
ccmom
I am new to this forum....but sounds like I am not alone in my problem. Glad to see someone got theirs resolved! Went outside to start my 2014 Edge...Key fob won't work, side door with code doesn't work, and key will not work. Called dealer...very confused but thought it might be dead battery...just starting process of trying to figure it all out. Waiting for roadside assistance. Wish me luck! WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Sorry you have to go through this, and good luck! The dealer should trace any shorts causing this problem before returning the Edge back to you. Añy other symptoms? Could be battery, gear shifter, APIM - most common culprits. Could be a keyless entry module in this case.

Hoopsdiva
New owner of 2014 Edge, bought with 30K miles. Wondering if MPP fromega dealer is worth keeping... platinum pkg. Or buying from Assurant Solutions from USAA. Thoughts? Experience with MPP?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
MPP? Assurant? Ford ESP warranties, if that is what you are thinking of, are the best deal you will get. Search online (floodfordesp.com, for example) for great pricing, maybe dealer will match.

WWWPerfA_ZN0W
You can check out Ford Protect levels of coverage here http://fordprotect.ford.com/extended-service-plan I would suggest calling up Lombard Ford and speaking with them directly. They are pretty friendly folks over there from what I hear.
