Travis Helton
Hello. The rear wiper motor on my 07 edge stopped working. Also no wiper fluid comes out. I have checked all fuses pertaining to the rear wiper and all are good. I also made sure I had power to the motor, which there is. I have had three different motors on it now and still nothing. All it does is "clicks" when I turn the switch on, which leads me to believe that the switch itself is good. It even clicks as if trying to start up for the wiper delay. I'm ready to pull my hair out on this thing. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Also I apologize if there is already a post about this problem. I looked and didn't find anything. Thank you in advance.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
I would find it easiest to blame the multifunction switch and test it anyway, since you say you have tested everything else. Maybe the contacts are corroded, or possibly shorted. The circuit is being interrupted at the MFS.
CinnamonEdge
I think there is a relay for that too. I would make sure that's not toast.
CinnamonEdge
I forgot to say that if the edge is wired like the escape the power wire is always on. And the ground is what is controlled by the switch. So that could explain the reason you still have power. I think it's called "ground switched".
