Dale1952
My Edge only has 1,100 miles on it. I had a complete loss of power while driving, twice. Prior to that it failed to start on 3 separate occasions; turning the key in the ignition did absolutely nothing. Has anybody else experienced this phenomenon? The dealer, at this point, is stumped. Can't seem to replicate the power failure
predapio
Read up on here, there have been some threads/posts. Matter of fact I just added to one such thread literally 5 minutes ago. Edit...here it is for you. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/7382-dangerous-stalling-problem/ Edited February 25, 2014 by predapio
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Seems too early to fail, but stalling while driving has been linked to a faulty throttle body. When it failed to start, did any lights/lighting come on or was it just plain dead? Shouldn't be a failed battery/alternator, but could be. Assuming all wiring is properly clamped down. Those would be my prime suspects. When was the Edge built and when did you buy it? Go to the link below, input your VIN to get the build date info: https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do
