roxbury29
Finally had a chance to purchase an Edge ( 2014 Sport AWD ). Signed paperwork today, picking up this week. I will post pictures later in the week. Test drove and rented several for trips, compared a few other vehicles and ended up getting one today. Just wanted to say hello to all !!! WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Welcome to the Edge/MKX community, and congratulations on your new ride! What other vehicles did you consider during this process, and what finally sold you on the Edge?
roxbury29
Hi, Thanks !! Land Rover Evoque, Audi Q5 I considered. I could not get the deal on either of those, compared to the Ford ( Z plan helped a lot too ) liked the Explorer sport too, at this time didn't need the 3rd row. Overall, very fun to drive and roomy enough for my family Edited February 16, 2014 by roxbury29

Haz
That is a great looking Edge! It's impressive that you chose the Sport over Evoque & Q5. Nice that you could save money by having a Ford retiree in your immediate family. Since you are new to Edge, perhaps you'll enjoy the attached document. Good luck! 2014 Ford Edge Source Book.pdf
roxbury29
Hi, thanks for the PDF. !! It does help my Dad worked for Ford for over 30years. the A/Z plan helps a LOT. I have purchased/leased quite a few fords over the years. The Q5 and Evoque were both very nice and equally priced and equipped, however with the Rebates and A/Z plan it was too good to pass up.
