og2711
I have a used Ford 2007 Edge SEL. Not long after i purchased it, i took a long 1000 mile trip. On returning, i noticed that when i step on the brakes and turn the steering wheel (at low speeds) such as when making a u-turn, i feel a grinding noise. it's not the end of the world stuff, but i'm more worried it might lead to something bigger Any ideas? akirby
If it only does it while braking I would suspect the brakes, otherwise I'd check the CV boots and axle and check for any loose suspension parts.
munky
I had same issue. Replaced the front wheel bearings and all is good!
Domenico Poiche Davero
Same problem here. I was told the antilock was causing the noise
evh
Mine was doing that and the pads were gone. It was louder when I turned. Replaced pads and rotors and I am all set. When was the last time you checked your brakes?
