Tacyon
Well .. I guess that there is something about it being -20F (-28.8C) that makes even the flexible plastic bumpers brittle. I don't remember this being an issue with the Chrysler vehicle I owned. Any who ... driving home from work ... -20 and hit a snow finger (the smallish drifts that cross the road) which was about 6-8" deep at about 40mph. It didn't have that normal "poof" noise that I was expecting. When I got to my garage I and looked for a possible source I found it in the form of a broken lower front air dam (?). Its the black part below the painter main bumper itself. (part #7 below) Question is .. a) does $230.00 sound right for that and it appears to be just a series of clips or plastic pop rivets. Any one know ?
