Spaceman Spiff
Gday Gang, I am looking for a dedicated winter set of wheels for my 2011 Edge Limited (Silver). It currently has the 20 inch chome clads on it. The winter set will be 18's. I have been trying to get factory sets locally at reasonable price with no luck. There is a seller that has winter rubber (2500 miles on the set) with a set of aftermarket rims at a reasonable price. I have attached a pic of the rim. I am wondering if these would look ok on the Edge or not? The price difference between the slightly used rims and a new set of factory 18's with new rubber is around $1000. Thoughts and opinions? Thanks in advance Spiff
akirby
Not bad. You can get some fairly inexpensive wheels (and winter tire combos) at tirerack.com just for comparison.
Spaceman Spiff
akirby, I did look around Tirerack. The problem becomes shipping across the border it starts getting expensive. If I end up buying something other than set shown or factory, I'd like to keep the rims as close as possible to factory if at all possible. Any after market rims that are 18's and look similar to the Sport rims would be nice. Spiff
akirby
In that case the ones you posted might be the best deal.
Spaceman Spiff
The shipping price from tirerack to Canada almost pays for the rubber and rims shown. Lol Spiff
