Bryan James
Hey Edge owners! Does anyone here have any experience replacing the in console 12v outlet to a 110v outlet? Less about the specifics of wiring and mounting an inverter, that part I can handle. For some reason I cannot get the 12v outlet out of the slot in the console. I am sure I am missing something simple. I even took apart the center console around the shifter to give me more room, breaking the shifter light in the process
12Edge
You might want to mention what year your vehicle is. I just looked at the service manual for 2011-2014 and it wasnt much help I am afraid.

omar302
Check this post that explains how to do it. It is similar on the Edge/MKX. Also, for the rear console mounted power outlet, the one below the rear airflow vents. The whole panel comes out, with the socket & vents. Just pull it off, it is held by, I think, 4 clips.
