Sbhg
Noticed tonight that my wife's wipers on her 2008 Edge don't work when you turn on the right turn signal. The wipers work fine with the left turn signal. Any ideas? Thanks!
gonzo0185
I was having the same issue, and now neither the front or back wipers work. Did you find anything out?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Probably a malfunctioning multifunction switch (or a blown fuse if all the wipers are inoperative). This link may shed some light: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12632-right-blinker-wont-stay-on-possible-causes/ The MFS removal/installation procedure: Removal and Installation NOTE: Release the upper steering column shroud by pressing inward on the sides of the shroud and lifting upwards. Remove the upper steering column shroud.Release the tilt lever, remove the 3 screws and then remove the lower steering column shroud.Disconnect the multi-function switch electrical connector.Remove the 2 multi-function switch screws and remove the switch. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
