robertlane
2015 Ford Edge to Debut In L.A. Alisa Priddle / Free Press FORD EDGE FORUM - Ford will debut a new Edge crossover utility concept Wednesday that is close to the lighter-weight vehicle that will go on sale next year. The automaker is spending $700 million at the Oakville assembly plant in Ontario to build the 2015 Edge alongside the Lincoln MKX. Ford will export both models. Design manager Kevin George said the goal was to transform the Edge from a heavyweight boxer to a sprinter — still muscular, but more nimble. Ford is not yet revealing details about Edge’s engines, but look for a couple of four-cylinder EcoBoost choices and a diesel for Europe. Jim Farley, Ford’s global marketing chief, said there are no plans to offer a diesel in North America. He declined to say if a hybrid is planned. - MORE HERE.
blitz118
I think it looks good, and hope the production model resembles the concept model. I also hope they produce a sports model.

goatee
It's a great looking vehicle and I like it. Glad to see they kept the fuel filler on the driver's side. Now I would hope for cooled seats a sliding armrest and a Top Pick + crash result. Then I would buy one in the middle of the second year of production (learned my lesson several times). kc300c
I am still waiting for a reply, but my partner just sent me these two photos in a brief email just now. I asked him where he saw this new 2015 EDGE and hope to post his reply here soon. Love the LED ribbon on the rear end. We have been looking at designing something similar for other vehicle brands. kc300c
I misunderstood what my manufacturer told me. He confirmed that the photos he sent were from the LA show. We were also talking about him visiting the Tokyo Auto Salon Show in Singapore at the same time, so I thought he had taken the photo there. Good catch blitz. Limited59
I just saw the Edge concept earlier today at the Toronto Auto Show. It's a nice evolution of the existing model. Didn't blow me away. I was, however, very impressed with the new Porsche Macan SUV. It's not as small as I thought it would be.
Mirage52
Lots of dead space on the back of the 15 Edge. The same complaint I have with the rear of the RAV4.
