jkohl
I have just purchased a 2013 Ford Edge Sport, with the 22" wheels. I live in a very snowy area, and when I purchased the vehicle I imagined that I could swap out the 22"era for smaller rims and slap some snow/all terrain tires on for winter. I have been told, however, that the 22" rims are the ONLY rims that fit the car, and that all terrain tires are not an option at all. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated as the snow is about to start falling and the Pirelli Scorpions (while beautiful tires), im imagining are horrible in the snow. Please respond, thanks! Edged Up
We can swap wheels. I'm gonna get 22's for the ride and they will fit. I don't know why having 22's getting 16's with the right tire wont fit. Or do I have 17"? Whatever the SE come with. Lets swap!!
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
2013 Edge SE's come std with 17 x 7.5 in. wheels with P235/65R T tires. Tirerack winter tire ratings for light trucks: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=W&VT=LT There are a few options on that list, exact or very close fit to OEM. SIRROMMOTORSPORTS
Youll be surprised how well the AWD sport will do in the snow even with the Pirellis... I wouldn't worry too much about it, the sport does very will in snow.
Frankiewhipit
We purchased a 2011 Sport at the end of last winter, after driving it the 1st time in the snow, my wife wants her 2003 Expedition back. lol This car is horrible in the snow (with the stock 22" tires on it) looking to get a set of 17's or 18's with some snow tires for the winter months
MrHappy
Seriously? While our '07 AWD Edge was a little better our '11 Sport AWD is great in the snow with the stock 22s and Pirelli's, 3 years in now. It rides high enough to get through the thick snow and tracks very well. Braking needs a bit of allowance due to the tires but otherwise it's been great for us. Doug Hathaway
I have a set of chrome clad 18" rims I would be happy to give to whoever wants them. I live in Denver and wont be paying for shipping. So either pick up locally or pay for shipping.
Stoln
To the person giving away the chrome rims, are you giving them away as in free just pay shipping? I would gladly take them if available and pay shipping.
