briandye
My 2009 has Sync w/6 disc changer and factory sub. I don't want to keep any of that, just want to know what wire harness. I will be doing a double din, speakers eventually and my own set of 12's in back. Crutchfield is no help, says there's no harnesses.
b1gbleu
Sounds like you got a bad sales rep. They were helpful to me. The adapter harness you need depends on the radio and features you will switch to. Crutchfield's website suggests several adapters for you to choose from. I have SYNC so I purchased the idatalink Maestro RR and a $35 harness for it for my Kenwood DNX570HD and plugged it into the factory harness. If you don't have sync, there's cheaper adapters. With sync you'll need to also splice into a wire in the harness by your shifter for the tel controls also. briandye
I've still not found a harness. There's 10+ on baby site I look at. Just want my steering wheel controls which I know is a separate module, but need the radio harness. Not worried about keeping sync or the inputs in the console. Would like to keep the stock sub til I decide what I'm doing with it.
