WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Had the Edge in-shop for exhaust smell in cabin and very recently, oil smell in addition. They found a leak in the LH Valve Cover (failed gasket), seems to be A-OK now. Time will tell. No cost, thanks Ford ESP!
macbwt
Think I could get a Ford ESP for my Edge? As far as the hose, you might want to invest in another two or three of them. My wife uses them (yes multiples) and really likes them. Says the other types are to bulky and heavy. Had the Edge in-shop for exhaust smell in cabin and very recently, oil smell in addition. Matthew Scott
Just got some new shoes. I am in love with them haha. Next week 2' drop, news shocks - struts and right side axel since my tone ring broke and of course it is built into the drive shaft ......
Cellbine
Looks great Matt! I like the black rims. I want to buy some for mine, but I can't stop investing . So I can't afford them. I will be able to later though. I like your side stripes, very unique! I might have to steal that version.
Matthew Scott
Thanks Cell, Feel free to steal away, i actually blacked out the amber in my headlight today and what a change it made to the front end, i also peeled the dip on my hood to give it some more accent colors well. Getting prepared to dump the blurple and go with flex blue anyway and having the mirrors, the grill, all of the trim and the rear spoiler painted a gloss black. Cellbine
Nice, I want to dip my wheels in a different dark color to accent the body paint on mine, but they won't ship to me. I have about 2 cans of matte black that I was able to sneak in my house shipment here. So I can make some adjustments and fix some spots, but that is about it. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Are they worried about propellants, Cellbine?
Cellbine
Most likely. I contacted them and all they said was "we don't ship to APO addresses."
macbwt
APO and FPO's have a lot of regulations on what can be shipped. If you try using UPS or FEDEX I bet you could get it at a PRICE. Had to deal with the same issue when I was in the Navy.
Cellbine
Thanks. I'm still looking into it. I haven't even decided what colors I want to go with.
The Whedge
I have a 2014 white sport which came with really nice 22's. I have had black 18" rims with snow tires on for the last few months (Canada) lol. Changing back to the 22's in 2 days. YAY!!!! The black rims actually look pretty cool though. They are 5 spoke; very similar to Matthew Scott's above.
PrinzII
Recently: Mine has had its 95,000 mile service and got the spark plugs replaced. Actualy runs better after that. Took it on a trip to California and she was averaging around 23-24 mpg.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Do you know what the plug gaps were at that mileage? NA engines tolerate a pretty wide range, for the Edge I have heard/seen up to 0.025-0.030 gap growth.
PrinzII
Nope. I can find out, though.

WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Didn't you just get new tires? Flats suck regardless.

Matthew Scott
Cell, I regularly place orders from DYC as we started a small shop doing this stuff just outside of chicago. If you want to look into it anymore i could try and see if i could ship to you. Have you tried like shipnex or anything like that

Cellbine
All I did with my Edge today was admire it. Love the style of this car.
PrinzII
Rundown of everything done to the Edge for the past month: a) Had 90k maintenance performed. Also had sparkplugs changed and door latch replaced (again). Drove to Indian Wells, CA for the tennis tournament with wifey. Avg mpg: 22-24. Literally took one tank of gas to drive there. c) Had to remove my type 1 switchbacks because the metal clips broke off and fell to the ground when I pulled them out. Upcoming: a) Revising lighting mod plans to include new Type 1 switchbacks. I don't really want to go with the Tritons. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Looked at the brakes, "rust" forming on the hubs of the PowerStop rotors, need to address that at some point. Full auto touchless carwash today, looks better, though not finger-lickin' good Wheels almost look clean, they look nice when they are. PrinzII
I did see some switchbacks at AutoZone for $19 but I am not 100% sure of the light output being better than the type 1s I had.

PrinzII
Forgot to mention they don't fit the 2011s. They do have 3157s.
