WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Very, very nice work very tricked out! How much work was it to put the Raptor grille in there? Take the wrap off the center console already! Can't wait to see your future mods in progress. Any pics with the lights on
Matthew Scott
The Selma grill was pretty easy to get in there, and definetly worth the money! no current pics with lights on but I'll take some tonight and post them up. I know I can't wait for the center console to be done but still got a couple weeks ahead of me on that project. chicago weather won't cooperate haha. Wish it was warm enough to do the light bar and raptor light kit cause I think that's gonna look awesome with that grille

Matthew Scott
Got some updates finally had some time and a warm enough garage to work in Added the led light bar and custom led foglight grilles Ipad in Dash project coming along nicely hit some snags but getting closer to the finish line. Next weekend i am dipping her nebula blue pearl, with a Deep purple and galaxy blue micro flake. The grille/fog light grille/side mirrors/roof rails/roof spoiler/rims/calipers and rotor hat/vein will all be painted gloss black to give the truck a nice bit of contrast. Cant wait this thing is almost done.
ls973800
Congratulations and welcome to a new chapter in your life! My wife and I were married for over 6 years before we decided we were ready to have a child. It was a big change of course having a child, but a wonderful experience. Best of luck to you, your wife, and your new daughter!
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Had the Edge serviced. The Works, 2 new control arms, valve cover gaskets, timing cover gasket. And for the heart-stopping moment: the fuel tank recall, the inspection for which luckily got a passing grade
RobertP
Just purchased 4 new scorpion tires for the sport edge at 28,000 miles. Was going to downgrade for cheaper tires, but the look of the pirellis is soo much better.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
You have the 22" wheels, right? You like the tread pattern on the Scorpions? Did you go with a different than OEM sized tire?
RobertP
You have the 22" wheels, right? You like the tread pattern on the Scorpions? Did you go with a different than OEM sized tire? Yes, I have the 22's. I personally don't mind the thread pattern on the scorpions. They suit me just fine. What was of concern to me was the look from the outside as some tires seem to bulge out more than others if that makes any sense. Cellbine
Thanks everyone. This will most likely be the last time I post pics of her, unless she appears naturally in pics with the Edge.
Cellbine
Finally got the harness in the mail. my cousin is coming over tomorrow to help with the install, then we will go out and travel Korea a bit. Also, washed the Edge today: For those that don't know, this is the season for yellow dust here in Korea. Dust gets kicked up from China's deserts and collects pollution on its way down to South Korea. The sky turns yellow and it gets hard to breath outside. Then it settles on your car...I miss my German garage!
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Good luck with the harness, hope it works flawlessly! Must have felt good getting your hands on the Edge , before the Chinese gold dust laid claim to it Installed macbwt-inspired Monroe MaxLift hatch struts, replaced cabin air filter with an ATP charcoal filter, checked all fluids & air filter. Washing to come later this week. Edited February 28, 2015 by WWWPerfA_ZN0W
macbwt
I can not do anything with my 2008 Edge today. At least it is in a warm garage during the cold snowy spell. Can not wait to see the new grill and shinny new paint job.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
You may not think so, but beware of the chances you'll become re-infatuated with your Edge after the work is done!
macbwt
This 2008 edge is like that old T-shirt you have that the wife keeps telling you to throw away but never do and keep wearing it. One day I will have to make that decision, but hope it is still a few years away.

TRMN8TR
Drive XR7, are the illuminated sill plates direct plug in? Was the harness in the car from the factory. My 2014 didn't come with them and was wondering if the harness is already there.
mindawyn
The kit comes with splices that you tap into 2 wires in the driverside kick panel. Install is pretty simple and took only about 30 minutes due to running and hiding the cables to the passenger side.
Cellbine
So I washed the Edge today for the first time with a sponge and bucket. It was a mistake, let me tell you why. Our house does not have an outside water source, so we have to tap into the one inside. We bought one of those magic hoses because there wasn't another one long enough to get out to the car. Supposedly it will increase 3x its length but didn't make it out the front door. So I had to rinse it by repeatedly filling up the bucket with water and pouring it over the Edge. It was not an enjoyable time. Probably about 15 buckets of water...Not the perfect wash, but much better than it looked before I started. But I am still impressed with the color of our Edge. I think it is the best color of all the "browns" Ford has put out. It can look black in the shade and brown in the light, and the metal flakes give it a lot of depth.
