IXIVI
I was looking into ideas on coloring or replacing the gaudy chrome grill trim, and realized I had 2 roles of carbon vinyl stashed in the corner of the garage, from a previous project. It was alot harder than I imagined - but only because I went great lengths to make sure the carbon weave matched all the way across the front (as opposed to just cutting random mis-matched pieces) Otherwise, just like all the previous plain vinyl wrapped grills, it was pretty easy! I used a blow dryer to mold the corners a little better, and went all the way under and all the way over. All the way over as in all the way over the top and and under the hood to the radiator shroud bolts in the center, and all the way to the trim mounting bolts above the headlights. I wasnt able to remove the headlight trim. I didnt want to take the extra time. We'll see how well it holds up, and if I ever need to re-wrap the trim, I'll for sure remove the whole bumper and individual trim. dugster
That is just vinyl with a carbon fiber look? How is it holding up with bugs/hwy/washes/etc. I am tired of that small piece of chrome there and think its a great solution.

Seems to be pretty good stuff.
