Clockman07SEL
Here's a link to a quick video showing how to remove and install a new steering wheel and clock spring in a 2007 Ford Edge: We just purchased this Edge and the steering wheel was in very bad condition; stained and worn out. It had faulty volume control buttons and the check air bag light was on. The local dealer recommended replacing the clock spring to fix the air bag light. Both of these issues where resolved by installing the new wheel and the clock spring.

dxg
Reviving an old thread because I have a related question. How do the steering wheel switch pods come out? I have the steering wheel out of the car but I don't see any fasteners for the switches. Do they just pry out? Thanks.
enigma-2
Removes by pulling the switch towards the rear of the vehicle. After removal, disconnect the electrical connection. Addl note. This is the service manual procedure for the 09,10 years. Assume it's the same for the 07. Edited March 6, 2016 by enigma-
