xK317Hx
Sounds like you don't have the GPS option with full maps and such. If your top right corner says "information" and not "navigation" then you don't have it.
xK317Hx
Also take the "e" out of the link you posted. That doesn't look like fords site it should be syncmyride.com
pikusek9
Yeahh it says information, can I download maps anyway or what should I do?
xK317Hx
If you want full maps with turn by turn you need to go back to the dealer and trade it in for one with nav. As far as I know you can't just add it.
pikusek9
I will hold on and wait for that page to be updated cause it tella me to log on that page and it will work
akirby
It won't work. You can't add nav if it didn't come with it from the factory.
RJG
Sync can give you turn by turn directions after you register your car. But it's not same as GPS.
drpepper
Maybe a trip back to the dealer to get the full demo ? You did pay a LOT for a new vehicle... But yep SYNC SERVICES ( the pd service that you may have free for a term) offers a call in feature that downloads turn by turn but is not a full nav with maps & auto route corrections. Can use a smart phone nav & the audio can come through car via Blue tooth.... a walmart, target, or best buy $99 special garmin or tom tom might be another option... ls973800
The sync services call for me are limited to 20 per year with my free 3 year trial. I am talking only about operator assisted calls. I have unlimited calls to the business search, map downloads, etc as long as I don't connect with a live operator. I have done numerous business searches and downloads but never made a call for a live operator. I didn't use any of the 20 free calls the first year of ownership and don't know if I lost them or if they carry over to this second year. I just found the information on syncmyride and they are still showing me with all 60 operator assisted calls. I "renewed" back in July (no cost, just had to "renew" for the second year).
