geant90
Hey fordedgeforum, I've recently installed Halo and LED Headlights on my dad’s 2008 Ford Edge. Everything is working fine I just have a question regarding the signal light wiring. I obviously determined black was ground so I used that with my test light and the middle worked as positive. When searching information on headlights as I was wondering why they have three wires I came to the conclusion that: Signal Light haves Three Wires: 1. running 2. signal 3. ground What is the difference between running and signal and if I wired my led and halos to the signal it would flash with the signal light as well? I’m really concern because I have the 1st and 2nd wire used as the circuit for the Halo and LED which if as the list shows: it is the signal wire. omar302
Running should be the Parking lights. The front signal bulbs have two filaments, the low (weaker) filmanet is used for Parking lights while the high (stronger) filament is for the signal.
