Vortechtral
Hey so with summer in effect so are the road crews. Laying roads down by the miles! With that also comes many miles of fresh tar. No matter how careful you may be it still gets places. Sure I could creep but then I would need to leave home for work 5 hours earlier to get there on time. So! What would clean dried tar well without scratching the finish etc? Getting closer to the end of the season it's looking like road crews have finished their crap for the year from where I live to where I work and everywhere in between. Washed the car today however even though the soap says it cleans tar from vehicles, it did didn't seem to do anything for my tar. Maybe they mean fresh tar, or perhaps they mean it cleans the tar to a sparkling shine! Thanks.

1HD2NV
I spray some WD-40 on a rag and then wipe, followed up by soap and water.
PrinzII
I apply bug and tar remover on the surface, let it soak to loosen and then clean it with soap and water.
