richy
OK, we drove down to Virginia for a vacation, and the cigarette lighter outlet next to the centre console (NOT the one inside it) is not working. I suspect and want to check the fuse for it, but I'll be damned if I could find it listed in the owner's manual. Can anyone direct me to which fuse # controls that? 2001 MKX. Nick Halstead
can help ya other than pull all fuses till you find the one that's blown. Enjoy VA. I originally from Virginia Beach
Dingo
Take a multimeter and set it on continuity. Poke the little metal contacts at the back of the fuses. You can test each fuse quickly without removing them.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Might need to pull #27 in the fuse box in the engine compartment, Richy. That is listed as "Front power point/ighter" in the 2011 MKX Owner's manual pg 258 http://www.motorcraftservice.com/pubs/content/~WOBMKX/~MUS~LEN/41/11mkxog2e.pdf
