I had just purchased an '08 Lincoln MKX Ultimate Edition over the weekend and had a few questions regarding compatability of body parts with its sister model (Edge). I noticed that the 1st gen Edge and MKX share the same bottom bumper cover (fog lights down--the matte portion). My questions are as follows: -Is the Sport kit on the 2010 model an add-on (lip) for the front bumper or is it a complete new bumper cover? -If it is a lip, what is the part number. -If it is a lip, would you think it will fit on an MKX I know 3D Carbon sells a lip kit for the MKX but I prefer how the fog lamp housing looks on the Edge Sport model.
