FishinJoe Posted July 21, 2013 Report Share Posted July 21, 2013 So, yeah, first post, just found this forum, and after a month of vehicle searching, wife and I really liked the edge sport...shopped around and bought it yesterday. 2013 Edge Sport. Drove it home 80 miles from dealership and less than 2 miles from home, it just goes wrong. At the time, I wasn't sure if it was transmission, or what, but I had slowed while turning, then pushed the gas and just got a violent shaking, hard hit-bump (got out and visibly inspected car--nothing)I got to the next light ok, but then gradually pressed the gas and wham..same thing. It repeated this serval times...we made it the last 2 miles at about 2-3 mph. Theres no lights or indicators on either. Now, in researching this forum I found a TSB which seems to cover this type of event, but in 2012 models. Has anyone experienced this in brand new 2013 models? But mine was only doing it every now and then. 2nd time it happen to me, I put it in manual and noticed it was stuck in 3rd gear. And every other time it happen, was in 3rd gear again.
