dr.sound
I have a 2011 Ford Edge Limited. Original owner, 41,000 miles. Zero problems except I put my remote in my pocket and at times.. I find the tailgate open when I return to my car or I set off the alarm when I am sitting in a restaurant and I'm 200 yards away. Today I hopped into my friend’s car and left for a few hours only to find my tailgate wide open. I would like to have it so I can put my keys in my pocket and not set off the alarm or open the tailgate. It is far too sensitive. Any adjustments that I can make or do I have to go to a dealer? Cellbine
I think there have been a few threads on this before, or threads that can help you with your problem. Here is a link to one of them: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/6237-key-case/?hl=cover&do=findComment&comment=97443 Looks like folks are putting their keys in cases to deal with the problem. If you are looking for more info, do a few searches with key words like: key case pocket FOB Good luck.
