whoanelli
Just wondering if anyone else can get it to work consistently. Seems I re-paired at one point as a last resort and I got some texts, but without changing any settings now they don't come through. Everything else works spot on and I've checked/re-checked all the settings. Anyone else?

spongers
I have this issue with my DROID DNA running a Sense 5 ROM (the same Sense 5 you are using on your HTC One). Personally I think it has something to do with the software of the phone since I can install a different ROM (Sense 4 based) and get text messages just fine. Go to Sense 5, bam, issue! Davom97
I have the HTC One (& love the phone), but text message indications are wildly inconsistent with MFT. The good news is they were wildly inconsistent with my previous HTC Design 4G. I'm on 3.5.1 of MFT and in the long history of updates some updates have made text messaging better, some have made them worse. Bottom line: I think it is a safe bet it's not our phones. It's MFT. Shocking, I know. Peace, DM
OnTheFence
I have an HTC One coming from the 1st generation HTC Evo. The Evo never allowed the MFT to read my texts but since I've got the HTC One (about 1.5 months ago) it's worked fine. When paired, an incoming text will alert in the right side of the drivers console and I can press OK to have the car read the text. I'm currently running Android 4.1.2 with HTC One Sense 5.0, but heard HTC released the newer 4.2.2 and most carriers are working to release it this summer hopefully that update won't kill the text feature it's pretty cool. omar302
My HTC One when paired with MLT, Version 3.5.1 will only read out the messages if they were received while connected. If I use the voice commands to read texts, it will prompt that Text messaging it not supported. A nice thing I also found with the HTC One compared to my previous phone, "HTC One X", when messages come & are viewed or read, they will be marked as read in the phone. My old phone kept them as unread.
