fezzman
Hello all. The AC only trickles out of the dash vents. The air blows out of the defrost vents and at the feet appropriately. I removed the glove compartment door and watched as the flap moves into position as I switched back and forth from defrost. What else could be causing this issue? Since the fan seems to blow variable speeds out of defrost, a relay or fuse isn't the issue. Right? Could this be a vacuum hose issue? I have searched and can't seem to find a diagram of the hoses used to control the vents. It is getting mighty hot out. Thanks for any tips. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Could be gaskets coming loose in the vents, has been known to happen. If the cabin air filter were dirty, it would affect all the vents, but doesn't hurt to check.
thirdgenlxi
You can't see the mode door for the defrost from the glove box, it's on the drivers side..... likely the actuator is dead. They're all electric... no vacuum. Or a control head, but actuator would be my first guess Edited June 26, 2013 by thirdgenlxi
