CGJ
I had an opportunity to put some 22" OEM Sport edition rims on my 2010 Edge Limited last week, but the guy mounting them (at the shop) said they don't fit. Is that correct? I understand there are hub spacers that help with this issue? Would love some insight.

The 2011 and up models used a smaller hub opening than the 2010 and older models. If you were putting the older wheels onto the newer vehicle, you would be able to use hub centric rings. No way around putting a smaller opening onto a larger hub other than to have it machined.
Nowak1981
I know from first hand experience that you will need to have the newer wheels machined out to 70.5mm to fit your older edge. I just finished doing mine a month or so ago. Cost me $150 to have all four done. Finding a machine shop with a lathe that large is the hard part. Good luck
