wannabang
Finally got the courage to debadge her. At least the SEL part. Looks a lot cleaner. Can't decide if I wanna take off the Edge badge. Also got my back-up sensors fixed and replaced my rear wiper. Woot!
carbonedge+
Can't decide if I wanna take off the Edge badge. Just do it...!!! http://www.fordedgeforum.com/gallery/image/452-somethings-missingjpg/
bdeb82
What did you use and how did you debadge it? It looks like whatever you used left a stain. Did that come off easily? I want to fully debadge mine. Any tips would be helpful.

No evidence that emblems were there.

Bear73
I had luck with this by heating my emblems using a heat gun, then I used fishing line to cut through the glue that holds them on. I imagine one would want to go easy on the heat, just enough to make the emblems move with pressure. I used a little 3M adhesive remover on a few of the stubborn spots and then headed to the car wash. Even close up you cannot tell that there were ever badges there.
wannabang
I found some goo gone laying around the house, put that on, and kinda flossed the letters off. Scratched away the leftover glue, and wipe it with water, which is why you see a mark there. The car isn't clean. LOL
Phillmatchett
I like it without the SEL. I'm still unsure if I want to debadge mine or not, or partial. I'm pretty sure the AWD lettering is gone today. It's odd that you debadged it in order to obtain a cleaner look, but you have two fairly large decals left on the rear? I assume they must have some meaning/importance..
wannabang
One's a Rand Paul sticker, the other is my university. I have a thing for window stickers... I think I like it the way it is, so thanks! I was thinking about putting the letters back on, though. The mod isn't really worth ALL that much, to me. Phillmatchett
Yeah, I like it as I stated above. It s a pretty easy way to alter your vehicle. Some cars look better debadged and some simple don t in my opinion. I d like to see a few more Edges fully debadged to make up my mind. I did find another topic that had a few clean shaven. NKopp83
A terrible night shot while comparing my new reverse lights. But I love a smooth back side! Need to find a way to blend in the Ford a little bit....

bullitt#193
We lucked out with Deep Impact Blue! The Ford badge blends in nicely with the color of the car. Another vote for removing all badges here!
trigg
normally a fan of debadging but not so sure in the edges case.
wannabang
That's how I felt after taking the SEL off. The font looks good on the back.
trigg
with regular cars it seems to look better.. perhaps due to the smaller body of the vehicle. I debadged my dodge stratus R/T. with the larger size rear of and edge it seems to look to bare.
