ravishingrocket
Noticed some brackets and bolts exposed. Is there suppose to be some plastic covers there?
Eatinitup
Noticed some brackets and bolts exposed. Is there suppose to be some plastic covers there? Nope, perfectly normal!
Kitulu
It's the same in my 08 Limited as well. I thought it a little odd at first, like Ford purposely left some details "unfinished" to either give it a more rough and truck-like ambiance, or to help convince people to move up to the next trim level, I.E. the Lincoln MTX. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Unfortunately, this "oversight" will result in rust (surface at least) over time if you don't keep the bolts/track protected. I've gotta clean mine, fun!
JOEHIO
Yup, if I were you I would clean up your nuts. On my MKX, there are plastic covers that cover the seat brackets. I guess you could order the parts from a Lincoln dealer and put them on.

CinnamonEdge
My Edge Limited has covers. I almost removed them because the Maxliner floor liners interfere with them a little. I think when they made the liners they didn't use an Edge with caps on the seat brackets.
rwf78155
They are covered in my 2013 Sport
CinnamonEdge
I just looked at mine and noticed the center ones are not covered. Only the threads are capped.and the two outer ones are covered completely with plastic covers. I don't think you'll ever have anyone notice because it's under the seat and in the middle.
