JOEHIO
I've been using Collinite 845 Insulator wax, have been a happy camper with iy, but was wondering................ has anyone tried Collinite Super Double Coat auto wax? It's a paste, supposed to last up to a year. Centuries ago, Dupont had a paste wax on the market that was called New Car wax. If memory serves me right, it was carnuba paste, hard as hell to work with, but, damn, it lasted and lasted, and water beaded up like no other wax would do. It was so good, that's probably why they quit making it !
richy
Liquid Colli is easier to use. I bought some of the paste wax and didn't like how it was to work with so I traded it away. 845 and the Metal wax are extraordinary IMO.
Edgieguy
I warmed my bottle up with hot water until it turned to liquid, I'll never use a paste wax again.
JOEHIO
Thanks Richy & Andy, just convinced me not to switch. Did the wifes MKS with durogloss mixes ( I call them love potion's) and Collinite, the metallics in the Cinnamon colour are awesome. Looks better than when it was new, and it will be 5 years old (omg, time to buy her a new one???). Edited May 14, 2013 by JOEHIO
