WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Major ouch! You need bulletproof glass on there, Prinzll. How big was this rock?
PrinzII
I would venture to say around 1/4-1/2 inch. All I heard was the telltale "pop" and saw the crack later in the day.

PrinzII
This time, they came out to replace the windshield. Considering that's my first time seeing the car without a windshield, I found it strange that it didn't look finished from that point of view. SoCalEdge2012
How much does the OEM windshield run?
PrinzII
According to the glass shop I used, there are different prices if you have the acoustic layer (Sound Screen), Rain sensing, or regular. Mine is the Sound Screen and it is over $300 brand new. This is enough to make me glad I have glass coverage on my auto insurance.
