Edgy01
Hi I'm a recent owner of a 2007 Ford Edge SEL+ with stock head unit navigation. The only thing I know so far is that when the navigation starts speaking I can adjust the volume of the navigation during those times and I did so until the volume was at it's most minimum level thinking that this is the way to disable the voice turn-by-turn navigation. However when I'm driving with music on and start to navigate I notice that the front speakers volume are dropping to low levels or almost no volume. I figured that the navigation voice was kicking in at those times and it was since I tried turning the volume of the navigation back up while playing music and the front speakers drop the volume of the music so that the navigator voice can speak but I don't want that. Basically I just want to drive with uninterrupted music on while navigating. 1. Drive with uninterrupted music (volume bumping down and up) 2. Navigating without voice turn-by-turn guidance.
