WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Had a streak of bad luck with MSI motherboards that made me finally switch over to Gigabyte (not the fastest, I know, but quite reliable the last 2+ years). Wireless-n at least, maybe even fiber optic backbone? :hyper:
Dingo
I've never once had a gigabyte board fail in any way.

WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Looks like very good specs on both. Not sure about ASRock, no experience with them. Do you expect to max out the desktop, power wise, I notice the 1200W rating for the PS. Gaming/CAD? You must have a beefy UPS protecting that one Silverstone is NICE! PrinzII
I went with a 1200 W PS in order to give myself some headroom if I decide to go SLI in the future. With things like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and a few other things, I need the firepower. I did have a UPS on my desktop before but may go that route again. Possibly APC. Complete overkill... Even if you were a network engineer and running xfinity across 6, 50" monitors.. Web designing and movie making production co's don't need that much.. As for a good sound card, the XFI Fatal1ty Champion Series by Sound Blaster is one of the best out. I have no complaints on it. Drivers were buggy in the beginning but that has since been fixed. I have the two part series.. Front bay and rear card slot.

Way better than the one you mentioned in your post.. Also, the Cooler Master case is sub par when pumping out that much heat. I'd stick with either a Lian Li, or try out the Antec 900 or 1200. The big boy 220mm on top really is a horse when pumping out exhaust!
Eatinitup
Oh and just my .2, stick with ATI for graphics. They are way ahead of EVGA.. EVGA Mainboards are beast as hell.. check them out. Asus has a terrible warranty/customer service department. Oh and INTEL all the way on CPU.

You mean like the 200 mm fan that's at the top of the Cooler Master HAF 922 I have now? Additionally, the case has a 200mm fan in the front and I installed another 200mm on the side for intake. The back has a 140mm. Edited May 15, 2013 by PrinzII
