Daveyboy
Hi guys! New to this forum and I'm a proud owner of a 2011 Sport. On the wonderful streets of Edmonton (potholes that you can hide beach balls in) I hit 2 potholes in the last 2 weeks, the first separating 1 tire and the second yesterday cutting the sidewall. Now I'm in need of replacing my 22" original Pirelli's. I really don't want them again as I found them terrible in the winter in cornering even with AWD. Does anyone recommend any other brands such as the Falken's or Kumos? Should I buy through Tire-Easy as it seems much cheaper for the same tires...Thanks! nickf1011
If the potholes are that big a problem, you may also want to consider downsizing from a 22" wheel to give your sidewalls a little more forgiveness. Don't think any other tires would really be that much better than the Pirelli's in those cases. Edited July 15, 2014 by nickf1011
