Huge Magnaflow discount

I was looking up some mufflers on amazon for my dad yesterday, but didn't buy anything. This morning, I had an email from amazon with a code for 25% off of Magnaflow. I went ahead and got the 15482 kit. Retail is almost a grand. Amazon was 765.05. With the code and my prime account, it came out to 573.79 with 2-day shipping. YMMV, but I thought I'd share. The discount code is unique to your account, so make sure you're logged in while browsing. It can also only be used once.

I just browsed while logged in to my amazon account. Here's the body of the email:

I spoke with the dealer, they said it would... I figured that.

But ford has been known for their cadillac converter going, heck it happened to my dads expedition and my moms navigator. If I put an exhaust system in, wouldn't they blame it on that if the cc goes and not want to cover it?

Had a front wheel bearing go on my vehicle. Swapped my winter tires back onto the vehicle just so they couldn't cry and say it was because of the rims. The wheel bearing was already starting to go before the rims where installed. They where asking if I had aftermarket wheels on the vehicle. I of course told them no. No TPS in my winter tires and it had different lug nuts installed. Not much they could do except repair it.

Yeah but you told them you didn't have a new exhaust system... I can't keep going back and forth on exhaust systems...

I just got off the phone with my cousin's boyfriend who works in my dealership's service department and asked him about it. He said (obviously) Ford is going to try to get out of anything they can, especially if it was a big job like the cats. And they go out of their way to try and do it... I don't know though. My thing is, I don't want to come across a $1,000-$2,000 problem over the 40hp I'd gain by doing the stuff I want to do to the car... Urghhhhh

I'm well aware of that lol. When I said 40hp gain I meant getting screwed with warranty problems for mod's I want to do in general. Exhaust, intake, throttle body, etc.

You can get a better price at www.hottexhaust.com, free shipping, but they charge sales tax, which kinda squishes the deal a bit. You can try

http://www.hottexhaust.com/Magnaflow_15482

Coupon code: F62MPC38EX

Sometimes the site was adding tax, sometimes it wasn't. Please try and let us know what it tells YOU!

I ended up purchasing the Magnaflow system for my 2007 Edge. Looks and sounds great!
