svtjunkie
Hello everyone. Does anyone know if the 2013 Edge Sport with pushbutton start and intelligent access key is able to have the windows go down using the remote? I have driven a ford fusion and if you push the unlock button twice and hold the button down on the 2nd push all the windows go down. I find this very handy on hot summer days when you want to evacuate the heat quicker. I know some of you will say to just have the a/c on auto climate but I prefer this method so it won't tax my a/c too much on hot summer days. Thanks for your input. BTW I tried to look this up on the site w/o success.
omar302
I know the MKX has it on the front windows only plus the vista roof. You just unlock using the fob and keep holding until they start rolling down. The feature is called "global open" by Ford. There is also a setting in the left cluster toenable or disable it. Cellbine
It is with great sadness, that I inform you that this function does not work on my '11 Edge Limited.
Tacyon
again ... for what should be a universal function ... they've programmed into a few, but not all, capable vehicles ... I just don't get it. That would be a awesome feature ... I'll not purchase a Fusion over a Edge just because of it. I did however purchase a Edge Limited over a Sport for the adaptive cruise among other cost of ownership reasons. $$
