Gcca
Hello everyone! Am a very happy new Edge owner... 2013 with the appearance package (didn't want all that chrome on the grill) in silver... I've searched and while this is alluded to several times, no one has actually provided instructions/tips on how to do so... How does one remove the 3 trim pieces in the lower dash panel? In my SEL, it is the grey pieces (in the limited, the wood grain). I want to wrap in CF, but don't want to just do it while on the dash and be cutting away. I figure it should be easy enough to remove, but before I do so figure I'd ask for tips or suggestions... The 2 pieces in front of the steering wheel look especially tricky to remove. The longer piece by the passenger side looks to have better spots to anchor a trim tool to remove it... Thanks in advance!
ferneyhough
Here is a PDF file for removing the steering wheel switch. Someone posted it a while back so I downloaded it & saved it, I would lke to thank that person but to be honest I could not remember for the life of me who posted it, but thank you. As for the other panels I have some pic's of the dash taken apart so it will give you a general idea on what you will be expecting.Hope this helps. steering wheel switch.pdf Edited April 25, 2013 by ferneyhough

Thevolt
I'll be doing the same thing as Gcca with our 2013 SEL we just picked up. I'm going to wrap the interior dash, centre console side pieces, and door handle pieces in Avery Supreme Matte white Carbon Fiber wrap. Also I'm going to cover the chrome grill with Matte Black Carbon Fiber wrap. Does anyone have any pointers on removing some of the interior trim pieces? Can the dash inserts come off without taking out the entire dash? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
wannabang
Really anxious to see what it looks like. I would like to wrap a couple pieces in mine.
Thevolt
Here is a few pics of the Avery white carbon fiber wrap I installed. overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I still have to cover a few door pieces and the two dash trim pieces on the sides of the gauge cluster. I'm also wanting to cover over the silver plastic on the steering wheel. I seen on this forum the instruction on how to remove it, but messing with the airbag kind of sketches me out. Has anybody successfully removed the steering wheel trim? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Is that a fabric or like a 3m peel n stick? How did you go about doing the curves and keeping it smooth?
