Daniel Pettway
Where did you get them and what type?
Adarcla3
Just the normal T10 5smd bulbs you can get anywhere. I purchase most of my LEDs from tmart.com (I am cheap and they have good deals) The big change is that removed the bulb housings and lined the interior of them with silver reflective tape. Eddie Man
Looks nice... Just ordered them and I'm also gonna do what you did by lining the inners w some reflective tape. Thanks for the tips

Ā That is such a damn good idea!! Did you do one side and check the difference? Is it really that noticeable?

MFdad13
I have these in mine Ā Those are expensive! What did you have before those?
Nick Halstead
not that expensive, those are for 4 pcs, I have two cars so it works well..I put them in and then sold them to a friend...I currently have thesehttp://www.ebay.com/itm/NEWEST-OSRAM-CHIP-2PC-5W-JDM-7000K-WHITE-LED-SMD-T10-194-168-W5W-LIGHT-BULBS/221253297231?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D261%26meid%3D9196168598873302696%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1088%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D221250513065%26 the ones I replaced was thesehttp://www.ebay.com/itm/NEWEST-4X-JDM-7000K-WHITE-LED-5630-SMD-T10-194-168-W5W-DIRECT-REPLACEMENT-BULBS/221252805652?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D261%26meid%3D9196168598873302696%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1088%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D221250513065%26 Ā being an open LED, time eventually let water get to them and they started flickering and burning out
Nick Halstead
one thing that annoys me is companies are too cheap to have a left and right license plate lens, so both fire in the same direction. I'm gonna eventually mod the EDGE to match my Aveo. Both my Aveo lights fired towards the drivers side like so.... after a simple modication with an exacto knife it allowed me to turn the light around and make the lights criss cross and focus on the plate and not the hatch
MFdad13
That is bad ass! Will you do a DIY for that?
Nick Halstead
Yeah....when I modify the EDGE I will. All mods on the EDGE are top secret as its the wifes baby...lol
candurin
COMPLETELY off topic. But I kinda like the way NM license plates look. Ā You can see NJ license plates while skydiving. Awfully bright yellow.
Nick Halstead
my NM plate doesn't stand out cause it's almost the same color as my carNM also has a bright yellow plate that I have subdued on the EDGE with a tinted cover... candurin
I actually did recall that from my Albuquerque trip last month (I'll be out there quarterly). Still not as ugly as the NJ plates. Too bad we can have black plates (i.e. DE). Edited July 20, 2013 by candurin
