builder1
Any aftermarket choice for just this? I don't want a full wood trim kit but would like to cover, change, or do something to get rid of the phony wood grain look that reminds me of the exterior trim on the Clark family truckster, as well as my Fathers 61 Ford Town and Country wagon. Thanks Edited March 3, 2013 by builder1
Brock79
You could always switch it over to the SEL trim.
Kitulu
Must be a newer Edge...my 08 limited does not have any wood grain in it.
builder1
Must be a newer Edge...my 08 limited does not have any wood grain in it. Be glad of that......it's really cheap looking, yeah mine is 2013. I ordered real wood burlwood trim panels from a kit online for $76. Not the whole trim kit just the three pieces where ugly prevails. I ordered pieces from this kit through carid.com http://www.carid.com/images/Ford/FDEG11D.jpg Edited March 5, 2013 by builder1
Brock79
That was a big reason I went with the SEL as well.
Limited59
I think the Limited 'mactack' is relatively understated. Some of those wood kits are quite overt... The Sport's silver trim would likely be a good replacement IMHO

kc300c
Have you looked into using vinyl overlay (wrap) to cover the existing trim? Here's a thread about wrapping trim pieces with a carbon fiber looking wrap. 3M sells tons of colors and designs. It should be a lot less expensive and you can get the exact look you want. Hope this helps. Vinyl Wrapped Trim Link
wannabang
Thanks for linking that. I was looking into doing some wrapping of some faded plastic pieces on the door panel and maybe get all the garbage silver off the dash. I'd be using a light beige, though. The black looks great!
