mclellan83
I know other vehicles do it too, but drives me crazy having a black interior with a silver headliner. I prefer all the same color but i guess there is a reason for the different color?
Dingo
Yup. Saving money. One headliner for all trim levels and interior colors.
mclellan83
Crap, why do the older escapes at least match?
Dingo
Because they hadn't thought of it yet. Ā You can always make yours match.
mclellan83
Figures, true but way too much work with all the panels and little pieces that would need done.
Dingo
The only hard part would be the visors.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
I try to think of it as two-tone, interior sport "paint"
Dingo
I thought about switching mine to dark charcoal alcantara.
Naverino
Even the new Explorers that have black interiors have the black headliner to match. Looks a lot sportier all black.

autom8r
How would you change the color and material of the BAMR cover? I haven't looked at the cover mechanism closely, but it would be a deal breaker if it wouldn't match. KingMike
I think the headliner the Edge comes with adds a little touch of class to it... :hyper:

Manish R. Patel
If I could do the sliding fabric for the panorama roof with trouble I'd be interested on doing all black. Just seems like a pain in the butt!
KingMike
Look around the forums for it. He posted the entire set up a while back.
