ioldsnut
Hello Fellow Edge guys.. Question: Do any Edge models have factory "cornering lights" ? If not, anybody added any? Thanks....
JOEHIO
Cornering lights, oh, yes, I do remember them, and how GREAT they really were. Had them on my '93 Taurus SHO, why (aside from cost factor) did the auto manufacturers do away with them?
Dingo
It would be easy to add 2 fog lights with mercury switches and separate relays.
Haz
I found the Mercury lights, now all we need are the Mercury switches. Good luck!
candurin
Ha!!!!!! That actually caused me to spit my water across my desk. Dingo wasn't literally referring to Lincoln "mercury" switches.
Dingo
Nooooooo. I mean a switch with mercury in it.
ioldsnut
How about using a holding relay in the turn signal circuit?. Not sure how that works exactly I just know there is such a thing.
Haz
Sorry for inducing your spit-take, candurin, I presumed Dingo was just slipping on his capitalization. Adaptive HID puddle lamps would be a better solution than the cornering lights of my past-owned Grand Marquis. Given the inventiveness of this community, someone here is probably already working it. Good luck! Edited February 19, 2013 by Haz
