WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Per the calculator on miata.net, here is the comparo: Tire Size Comparison Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference245/60-18 5.8in 14.8in 29.6in 92.9in 682 0.0%235/65-18 6.0in 15.0in 30.0in 94.3in 672 1.5% Doesn't look like you need a recalibration. Notes from 1010tire.com Tire Calculator Notes:Tire diameter can vary slightly for each tire model. The listed diameters are from calculations based on the tire size. When changing tire sizes, we recommend staying within 3% of the diameter/height of the original tire. Any more than this and you face the risk of brake failure. This tire calculator is for information purposes only and we do not guarantee fitment based on this calculator alone.
ls973800
Miata has changed their website since the last time I've used it, and I like the new improvements! In addition to what was posted in reply #2, the stock tire would read 60 mph ( 100 km) and the replacement tire would read 59 mph (98.4 km). You are all set to go with them!
