mjbaker84
Okay I bought some factory edge 20's for my wifes 2011 limited. 2 of the wheels have chips/peel in the lips of the chrome or whaetever they use on the wheels. Can it be re-chromed or re-done to look like factory? Looks like previous owner scraped a curb.
Dingo
They can't be fixed. They must be replaced.
Edgieguy
I hope you saw the damage before purchasing them. I bought a set of AMG wheels on eBay once and when I received them the lips were covered in sandpaper like scratches. I returned them immediately for a refund. Hope you at least have that option. mjbaker84
nope didn't see it before I bought and the seller wouldn't refund the money. but the wheels are still in good enough shape and the tires were like new was well worth the cost. Plus most people can't even tell unless I point it out!
Cellbine
You could always plasti-dip them. That would hide all damage. Lots of fun colors out there lol
mjbaker84
really prefer the chrome more than anything. Same with my wife, lol
