2k3gixxer1000
has anyone had this come up in a 2008 awd edge? My truck was fine, did a wash on it since the weather was nice, started it up, moved it to its spot in the driveway, turned it off like normal, and everything was fine. Today went to start it up, had the abs, the tps the trac control light and wrench all on. Did a scan, no engine codes are listing, so i dug into the abs, and the c1175 code pops up. curious to see who else has had this code, and what it turned out to be Thanks
thirdgenlxi
C1175 is for the LR wheel speed sensor input circuit failure. Most times it's usually just a wheel speed sensor gone bad, but given it was fine and didn't do it until after you washed it, you may have somehow gotten some water in the connector. I would unplug the LR wheel speed sensor and make sure it's clean and dry, put some dielectric grease in the connector and plug it back in, clear the code and see if it comes back. If it does there's a good chance you need a sensor..... I've had stuff that was just weird coincidence like that before too, lol
Lennyt
I recently also had the wrench, ABS & trac cont light come on. A scan shows c1175, c1236, D1464, p1650, p1703, p1780. Can they all be related or should I take it into the dealer? The only obvious issue was the ABS kicked in when braking on dry asfault. Any thoughts? ls973800
I used to have that happen on a different car my son owned. Every time he drove in the rain or wet conditions, the ABS, Traction control, and another light would come on showing they weren't working. Once the car dried out, the lights went off and everything worked. His was a frayed wire which once repaired, took care of the problem. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
These are a bunch of codes related to brakes/steering/transmission wiring/sensor inputs. So I would concur that compromised wiring should be checked for first.
curcie75
Just had dealer pull the same code on my 2008. Purchased the abs /speed sensor for $54. Took 10 min to replace. All lights went out and all is fine.
