Edgieguy
A lot of people probably passed on the $795 option of adding GPS to their myfordtouch equipped vehicle. Maybe you're buying second hand and didn't have the option? Many have inquired only to find out that you can't just add nav card and have navigation on your MFT screen. Now finally someone is trying to fill that void. Take a look at www.mocar.us They have a great video to watch too. omar302
That is not the original equipment navigation. But an add-on. So the voice commands won't work, you won't get directions on the instrument cluster right screen and no directions on the information quadrant of the main screen. It is a great solution compared to having no navigation at all, but is is NOT the factory NAV.
akirby
I don't think you can use nav and the radio at the same time either.
omar302
I believ the added NAV will have a seperate speaker to speak out the directions, so whatever you had running on your MFT (Radio/CD/USB/SD/Phone) would continue to play through the vehicles speakers. You would even still be able to access the MFT through the cluster right screen.
Cellbine
This would also be a good option for European owners, but do they offer European maps?
Edgieguy
You have to contact them regarding Euro maps. I thought it was a great idea for people who don't have nav, and will never be able to add factory nav. Just sharing, that's all.
