ioldsnut
I have a 2011 SE and it does not have a lighted passenger sun visor mirror. My question is: Is the wiring for the light already in the head liner or will I have to do that myself? Anybody know?
Randomnetuser
You will have to add the wiring yourself
ioldsnut
Thanks Randomnetuser... Thats not a problem to do, just wanted to know before I start the project......
Randomnetuser
No problem. Sometimes you may get lucky and there is already a wire being ran through it. If that's the case all you have to do is find a fuse and you should be good
autom8r
Sorry, I only have the service manual for 2008. Here is what the wiring diagram for the visors are for a 2008 model year. The wiring in the headliner seems to be present. Some splicing may need to be done at each visor if the condition of the connector from the donor vehicle is unsuitable. I postulate that the wiring for a 2011 may be similar. Ford Edge Vanity Mirrors Wiring.pdf
ioldsnut
Thanks Autom8r,,, I think I'll pull the visor off and see if I can find some wires...
