Slick56
We are hearing a popping type sound coming from under the passenger seat when you shift around in the seat. It seems to have just started. Have inspected with flash light but cannot locate. Seems to lessen when seat is raised up. Anyone else experince this? If it is something simple I would fix but we are still under warranty so do not want to get to carried away with repair. Thanks! Edgieguy
My seats are making alot more noise lately since its dropping below freezing at night. Once the seat heaters have the seats all toasty they are silent.
JOEHIO
If your seat doesn't make a popping sound when elevated. it might be the wiring harness under the seat hitting something like a frame underneath. When seat is raised, the harness is stretched a bit, less chance to hit something. As Edgieguy said, once seat heaters have seats "toasty", no popping sound, so it might be a heat related issue, i.e., softening the harness? Just a guess, might be the problem. Just like humans, cars, as they get older, start making more strange sounds and groans ( ha-ha). :hysterical2: Edited December 10, 2012 by JOEHIO
