When operating your ipod through the USB connection we noticed the Sync turns the ipod on when the USB is selected. does it turn it off after usage or do we have to make sure and turn the ipod off? Cellbine Posted December 3, 2012 Report Share Posted December 3, 2012 Your ipod turns off after time. You can test this by keeping your ipod in sight when you turn your car off. Leave it for some time and come back to check on it. The ipod should power back on when you open your door or unlock it. One of the two.
