thecolliers
I have a flashdrive with songs copied from my Mac's iTunes folder (artist>album>song). These songs generally play OK on my 2012 Edge. However, I want to organize them in playlists. I tried exporting my playlists from iTunes to my USB drive in .m3u format. My Ford Touch sees the playlists but no songs are associated with them. I tried using a text editor to modify the file paths in the .m3u files to take out my Mac location (deleting my home directory and starting the file path with either the album name or music -- I tried a couple of things). Nothing I tried worked. How do I make the link between the playlist and my actual songs? (By the way, I just had my Edge to the dealer and got the latest system update.) Thanks so much for any help! akirby
iTunes export works great. Maintains all playlists. Edit; that's a free program (iTunes export), not a feature of iTunes itself. Edited November 22, 2012 by akirby
