tomato
I have purchased the unpainted replacement bars to change out the ugly chrome bars on the grille. The three page instruction sheet shows how to replace the individual pieces but shows the bumper coming off with no notes on how to do that. I found instuctions on the web for a 2009 but it looks quite a bit different than mine especially with the 2.0 turbo engine in there. Has anyone removed the bumper (without breaking something) and willing to offer words of wisdom? Thanks a lot!
Cellbine
I've never seen the bumper for your Edge, but the construction couldn't be that different from all the other Edge's. Here is a link for removing the bumper off of older Edge's. Not sure if its the same on you found. The screws should be in the same place on your Edge. http://mechanixtrix.com/Article/Article.aspx?ArticleId=
MattyP
where did you find a grill?

Bensie
Mechanixtrix.com site appears to be down (or at least inaccessible on my computer). Does anyone have a PDF of this procedure that they could send me?
candurin
Here's a great video detailing bumper removal. The 2011+ should be almost identical, with the exception of slightly different screws (and more of them) underneath the bumper.

Bensie
Thank you all, big help. Saved me a costly trip to the body shop for something I can do if pointed in the right direction.

Cellbine
When my new headlights get in I plan on making 2 videos. One on how to remove the front bumper for 2011+ models and one on replacing the headlights.
candurin
What's up with the new headlights? You go with halos?
Cellbine
I went with halos, an LED strip at the top, and a little secret mod to tie it all together~ The inside of the housing is painted to match my car, Metallic Earth. I put my order in around January, but due to advances in LED technology I waited to get the best product I could. I've been working closely with White on this custom build and I think he has come up with something awesome. Hoping they will be in the mail next week so I can install them. These headlights and Dan's new EDGE-2s will pretty much complete my Edge. The only other thing I think I will consider is lowering it a little.
